Skinner info and, now, pics!

Lol! Nope, I don't mind at all - actually I'll take that as a compliment, with my thanks!

I bet you can't wait to unleash the fury on some arctic beasts with that skinner. It looks like it will perform the task it was intended for beautifully. I can't wait to hear your review of that knife in action. In the mean time it sure is pretty!

That'd be a safe bet for you! If my plan comes together, hopefully next Sep it'll see some use on Yukon moose, caribou, and if I'm really lucky a brown bear... I am kicking around the idea of whacking a buffalo, although it's a herd on a private ranch - so only a "hunt" in the loosest of terms..

The ergonomics of the skinner are fantastic. Choking up on it with my middle finger in the choil and the tip of my index finger on the spine just behind the tip feels like it'll give surgical performance..

It is pretty :) It'll be prettier covered in hair and blood ;)

That beast needs a sheath for it's awesomeness. I still can't get over the hand sanded flats on Rick's customs. They're just so smooth and go with the overall design of the knife. Ahh, I just can't get over it! Lol Pardon me, I recently got my first xm-24 and have been a little crazy lately. I'll be even more crazy as soon as some new 24 accessories come in on saturday :D

You have the right idea. I can show a Pic of one of my 3.5" spanto XM's that has been knee deep in guts and bone a dozen times (fish, deer, squirrel, etc.) IF you saw it you'd swear it was a safe queen. Nothing, Not a scratch.
Amazing.

This is My pair of Skinners !!

The tolerances on that liner lock are incredible. There can't be much more than .003" from the blade to the liner per side, what a beauty!
