OK I have rough cut the handle and roughed out the scales.
Next I need to strip the knife and hand finish it and do a super thin
convex edge.

looks like a SAR without the talon hole.....interesting experiment...

that was one of the fastest concept to execution ideas I have seen around here. Looks sow-eeeet!

I think I just threw up a little. No really, it looks quite handy. Actually, I would have preferred that sort of handle to what Jerry decided on for the SAR4 or 5, that palm swell would have given me a little more comfort factor. You guys who grind the heck out of your knives have more guts than I do. I could never bring myself to do it. I'll just patiently wait until Garth finishes my NICKs and XXXL NICKs, right Garth. :D

I like what you're thinking for the second set of cuts!

Although you may consider filling the holes and just using epoxy for some new custom slabs --- otherwise the tubing holes may end up looking pretty off-center (low) on the handle...

leave the swell in bottom center of handle for comfort and the one at end to hold on too

the rest looks goods.

from the peanut gallery they cried

I ran into a problem Knife hunter. The hump on the bottom leaves no room for your fingers on the cutting board.

ok then...its gotta go:)

but can you leave the curves in her BUTT:)

Ouch! For 300 bucks you could have had a custom made by any number of talented makers. I guess it does make it your special knife though!

That exact same thought goes through my mind every time I buy a Busse. But I dismiss it. Have faith soon you will understand.
