Skookum Bush Tool - Legit Tip?

I don’t see the bunted tip as a desirable feature on an expensive custom knife, and I don’t think that it looks like a Tanto tip. I dropped a Roselli hunting knife that hit tip first on the bottom frame of a large gun safe, and the tip stayed perfectly intact. Maybe the Roselli forged carbon steel can better sustain such an impact.
I don't think they are horribly expensive, although based on his backlog the guy should raise his prices.

You are right. I checked out the price on his website, and it’s surprising affordable. He makes a good looking knife. The picture on his webpage shows a knife with a pointed tip, and it looks great. I would imagine that buyers could request bypassing the blunted tip feature.
