Skyfall

Some kind of high end OTF. I cant wait for skyfall from the trailers i'v seen it could end up being one of the best Bond movies ever.

Are those guys really Bonds? This one's (Connery) the REAL James Bond AFAIAC. And he would carry the FS Dagger no question.

The guys I mentioned (Sean Connery from the movies and James Bond from Ian Fleming's book) are definitely Bonds, to be sure. :D

And Brosnan was even less of Bond than Lazenby! I don't get how people think of Brosnan as the real Bond.
Lets try something if the OP will allow it
What knife would each of them carry?
Connery
Lazenby
Moore
Dalton
Brosnan
Craig

:D

Because there was a small lapse in time from dalton 89 to brosnan in 95. I assume it's the younger guys saying brosnan being he was the new modern bond!

I feel like all of them had a decent movie in their bond careers so i am not going to argue who is the best of who. ;)

Connery - Randall Model 16 Diver with Red Micarta Scales (Fixed - Connery seemed to spend a lot of time in salt water)

Lazenby - Slim Double-Quillioned Linder Dagger with Ivory Handle (Fixed)

Moore - Victorinox Mini-Champ with Black Scales

Dalton - Spyderco Harpy (Original in Stainless - just seems to fit the genre)

Brosnan - Microtech Double-Edged Ultratech, Satin Finish

Craig - Benchmade Rift, Plain-Edge

Yeah, I'm thinking more Connery Bond / Book Bond.

Smoking 24 hours a day, like the cool kids do.

connery had two daggers built into his suitcase by Q in "from russia with love"

the way i see it, each would have his own choice... i imagine something such as:
connery: quality italian switchblade- pretty damn good for the times, and still a classic.
Roger moore: something more ornate and elegant to go with his high rolling style, like a faberge egg (as in octopussy)
George lazenby: no nonsense F/S commando dagger... very british. Very lethal.
Timothy Dalton: a swiss army knife, as it gets the job done, but it's not very exciting (maybe a little dull?)
pierce: something from MOD. with way too much flashy junk that it doesnt need, just to get your attention.
craig: most likely a fairbairn-Applegate dagger (but custom from William Harsey, because he recognizes quality). just a badass fighting machine... no messing around.

I can imagine Bond with a Sebenza with a Union Jack engraved on the handle.
Depending on the actor, the size varies.
Maybe a Mnandi with a scrimshaw of the flag would do - for those delicate missions.

In Skyfall, Bond uses a folder to remove some bullet fragments from his chest. Couldn't make out what it was... But it looked cheap.

Edit: Oops. Someone mentioned this on the first page. Only caught a quick glimpse of the knife but it didn't have thumb screws.

In quantum of solace Bond passes his gun an what looks like a small dagger in a leather sheath back to M. This scene is in the hotel right around when he sees ms fields dead and coated in oil.

William Henry, or something Italian, maybe a Russian folder. Whatever it is, it will be top of the line, expensive and can be used in a very nasty way.

Never was a fan of the Bond movies until I saw Craig in the movies. He does a good job. Bond pulls off the gentlemanly exterior, but at his core is the ultimate nasty sumbitch!

Skean Dhu for Connery in an ankle sheath. Craig - whatever he would take off the guy he killed or an Emerson. The other guys never qualified as Bond in my book.
