Last Thursday I finally got a reply from Greg at Skylands. It seems that the knife I ordered was out of stock at that time and they forgot to notify me that they were unable to ship my order. However, in the reply from Skylands, I was offered several alternatives to the knife I ordered, all at reduced prices, to compensate for the long wait, I guess. So, with consideration to all the votes of confidence for the people at skylands you guys have given, I'll give them one more go and see if it works out better this time. If it doesn't, I'll probably be here whining in a months time again.
