What a peculiar eye in that claw hammer!
But there's no room for them to come out the bottom unless the handle had slots in it.https://www.toolexchange.com.au/our-tools/hammers/3230 I think it had straps like this.
What a peculiar eye in that claw hammer!
I was wondering if the claw hammer was designed to have metal wedges installed on both ends?

This was at a friends shop. Not my first time, but it's been way too long. I've read books, watched a million videos and mostly know theory, but I have next to no actual experience. It was fun and it's motivated me to get a forge set up at home once it gets a bit warmer.Looks great now.
You've started playing with fire!
