Hello all, I'm looking for a knife with the following criteria

*Blade length 2.5 to 3 inches
*Slim, small & lightweight
*No assisted opening
*Not too tactical in looking
*No Spydercos (I know they are good knives but I'm not really into their looks)
*Lanyard hole
*One handed opening
*Less than $45

NOW DOES SUCH A KNIFE EXIST??

I have had a search around with no luck. Something like a SOG Twitch 2 would be ideal if it did not have assisted opening. I would really love the Al Mar Hawk Ultralight but it is over my budget.

Edited to add: Not too wide as well. Maybe something similar in shape to the two I mentioned above

I have a Buck Prince. Dont know the model number. Virtually unnoticeable in the pocket. Well built Fits the hand. Sharp. Oops, not one handed opening.

Yes, it does. KERSHAW OD-1. Link-y.

The AG Russell FeatherLite One Hand Knife...price 34.95 in either AUS-8 or ATS-34...your choice.

Or you could spend a little more and get the slippie look with all the feature you want plus an extra blade with a Kershaw Double Duty.

Or the Boker Trapper Liner

+1 on A.G. Russell check out their site lots of variety that would fit your criteria.

Al Mar Airweight Sportsman
A couple have recently gone on the bay for $50 or less!

Ultra light, ATS-34 and thin. A good slicer.
I have one that has unzipped over fifteen deer. It has been abused but still rocks on.

take a look at the Kershaw skyline, it meets all your requirements, and is made in the USA too.

You're thinking of a Kershaw Skyline. Very small and light (1.3oz!) and VERY non-threatening. No A/O - has a flipper opening that can be opened very slowly (for sheepie) or lightning-fast.

.

It's only $32 too...

Boker Trance. Might be too tactical and weight is 3.4 oz

Buck Bantam BBW. Not sure if slim enough. 1.5 oz

Kabar Doziers. Not sure if slim enough. 2.3 oz

A G Russell Featherlite is a best buy knife. And you want even know you have it in your pocket because it is so light but it will do about anything a knife is needed for.

I think these both knives meet most/all your criteria. The Trance has a framelock with lots of holes in it on the other side, so it's pretty light.
Its also available in three versions/colours.
I have a Trance myself and the fit and finish is better then on my Kershaw Shallot. Which was twice as expensive by the way.
Also Boker is one of the few manufacturers who understand how to make a good pocket clip.

Almost all of these have been mentioned already but add my vote for them.

Kershaw Skyline/OD-1
Boker Hyper/Trance/SubCom/WharCom
