Slimy *ucking Thief

I can't believe he had the nerve to ask me here on BF what the sheath looked like.

That is too bad Andy - I was going to simply send him pictures of my work.

I mean, he might as well rip off the whole lot of us. ;)

Not that I invented the pouch sheath. I certainly borrowed a lot from other designs.

I`m surprised it took him this long to copy you, he copied my little hatchet back in June or July! He emailed me wanting to "buy" it, and wanted to know about it. Next thing I know, he has 10 of them for sale, right down to the oak handles! I got an email from a guy on British Blades wanting to know if I was making them for him, they were so much alike.

So HE is that jerk! I was wondering who it was.

He has a copy of one of Jay Fisher's chef's knives up now.
What a freakin' scumbag.
Is there any legal action that you can take?

That sucks. Thankfully you always put your name/maker marks on your works. I think our customs makers have to 'brand' their marks a bit more widely. I'm mean, Andy, you should have your mark somehow as part of your avatar or sig line so that everytime you post you mark is up front and generates that kind of brand recognition.

Not really. But the internet reputation thing was enough this time. Thank God.

Now thats not a bad idea!
