It's paradise, but we share the same human struggles. After a while the beauty becomes normal and it's hard not to take it for granted.
Actually, the downside is the cost of living and the wages / salaries are not any higher that more affordable places. So, much of the population has to work more than one job, etc.
Besides that, it's a wonderful place to live.
