How To Slipjoint tutorials and advice

I finally finished my first one, snapped two springs because I had them too thick. Luckily Thys Meades gave me some advice and then I managed to get it to work. I'm lucky to have such an excellent knife maker in my town. OP thank you for sharing your design and making it possible for us to also join in making our first Slipjoint knives.

Knife looks great.
To upload pics, host them on a site like Imgur, click on the pic on Imgur. Copy, them click on the mountain icon above on here. Click on the paperclip looking icon then paste.
 
Can someone share/repost the original DWG files? That link seems broken. EDIT: DXF->DWG I want DXF but struggling with conversion issues etc so take what I can get. both preferred.)
 
Thus is an old thread. The OP hasn't been around for a couple years.

It might work best to PM anyone who you think has the files you want. Who posted them?
