dunno if this is the place, to put it, but i do think it has a place somewhere on these forums, knives how fascinating they are, are still dangerous


slipped with a knife today

blood evrywhere,
had to got to the hospital to get stitches


i was glad i cud stop the bleeding myself, so i didnt need to call the paramedics

was a strange sight tho, walking in the middle of the city busyest street full of blood

some cops stopped and asked what was the matter
i said i didnt need an abmulance coz i stopped the bleeding myself i just need to get to the ER, and i was goin there on foot

and then them cops gave me a free ride there :)

Sorry for the loss of blood. But, man those are great bandages! I wore one for over two weeks (just to test the bandage). Hope it heals well.

its from the hospital, looks very decend indeed, but i'll have to remove it tomorrow to desinfect the stitches, got to do that evryday they said
 
the cut is right under my thumb, but the thumb is still movable, so it'll heal ok i suppose

Nice!:(. Work hazard. You seem to have a good head on your shoulders, though.

On a side note... I'm guessing you're either a left handed guitar player (although the injury leads me to believe you are right handed) or you are into the "goth" or "vamp" scene and like to grow and sharpen your nails. (which would explain your cool head when it comes to blood) ...... Am I close?

I hope you'll be OK before long. Sounds like there's no lasting damage. I'm glad the police didn't give you a hard time.
 
Well, at least you did the one thing you should always do in the case of a bad cut.

Stop and take pictures.
 
@magnussen, the vamp scene must be the closest guess
i was quite shocked, but i've had a hand injury before, and was indeed able to cool my head and do what had to be done, without getting hysterical n stuff

yeah indeed, the cops just gave me a ride, and thats it, they've good a been alot worse if they wanted to

after i put some sort of bandage on at least :D
i covered it in more bandages after the pics, before i went to hospital, and then walked tru town with hand (and bloody arm)held high

Well, I suppose that's one way to discourage muggers.:D

haha yeah just the number of ppl that stared at me in the middle of the busy shopping street must be enough to discourage any mugger :D
 
It doesn't matter if you make them or carry them they always end up attacking us sometimes. Glad it wasn't any worse and hope it heals fast!

yeah, the cut seemed to be very clean, no ripping shreds or anything like that.
