Concider it a good day. It would have been far worse to have cut into the palm of your hand or fingers. You still have use of the hand. That slice into the wrist should heal up no problem.

yeah, even tho it is more the bottom part of the thumb than the wrist that got hit
the thumb feels all numb right now, but i can still move/use it

but what u've said i've almost had with an earlier accident, same hand, but worse, the thumb muscle was al cut through, but also, none of the real valuable hard to heal parts were hit then, it all healed pretty well
