I am going to buy a Sebenza. If you have a Sebenza do you feel the small is good enough for ever day use?

If you have the large Sebenza is it comfortable to carry?

If you were to able to buy your Sebenza over again would you buy a small or large?

I live in the city and am to ill to go hunting or camping so I would carry my Sebenza in my pocket around town.

The small Sebenza should be able to perform every job you want it to, and it is very easy to carry.

That being said, the large Sebenza is more comfortable (for me) to hold if your hands are on the larger side.

You cant go wrong with either, get both :)

To me the small did not feel like it was worth the cost, for a little more get the large, you won't notice the difference in your pocket and it feels like its a lot more bang for the buck. That said I have switched to the Umnumzaan, for what its worth.

prefer the large myself. Fits the hand perfectly and the blade is a nice size for fruit/food prep. Best knife in my collection.

been using a small for over 10 years...never let me down. i have a large as well but the small gets waaaaaaaaaaaaay more pocket time!

The small really is going to be perfect for what (it sounds like) you need.

I just bought one (FINALLY!!!!!! I love it!) and I've been using it for about a week. It's smaller than a lot of folders that get attention today, but it can do anything I need it to do.

Bigger is better, just ask any Xtenz testimonial.

I think the large carrys great, if you remember the large is more like a "medium" i think the small would also have been great, i wanted a small but the dealer i used was out of stock so i got a large and am happpy i did i find it not too large and i used to always carry a BM 707 for comparison.

I have never held a small but the large feels perfect to me. It carries great in the pocket also.

Chris carries the large. That's good enough for me.

If you feel fine carrying a regular Griptilian or Endura the large Sebenza is pretty similar.

I chose a Small Sebenza first because 5 of 7 days of the week I'm in dress slacks in an office environment and didn't want to startle other business folk when I pull it out. That said, under almost any other circumstance, I would prefer the large - just because.

Another vote for the small. It has done everything I've asked of it for over a year. Others can carry the large easily but it's too big for me. Mine was custom ordered ( leftie with double thumb lugs) so yes, I would buy the same knife if I had it to do again. FYI, all my EDC knives have 3" blades.

I loved my small Sebenza's, the only problem was, they had a tendency to creep up and almost out of my pocket sometimes. I almost lost a small regular Sebenza just from getting in and out of the car, so I found myself constantly checking to make sure it was there. That's just something I found to be common with smaller knives with clips that may not be very tight or on the short side. I had the same issue with a Strider PT. I prefer the large Sebenza for peace of mind because I don't have any issue with the large one creeping up out of the pocket. That said, I wouldn't let that prevent me (or you) from buying a small Sebenza. I actually want to get another small regular Sebenza one day and see if I still experience the same concerns as before.

i've handled a small, large and an umnumzaan, if i'd had to choose i'd take the umnum over the sebenza's, but if it has to be a sebenza i'd go with a small. good weight for carry and blade is big enough for daily use

I myself had the large but have to say a small would be a bit better for me. That is just because I own almost all slipjoints now so I like 3 inch blades or less. Anything more and it feels huge. My Kershaw OD-1 is 3 inch blade and its perfect for what I want.
