I just completed three bowie hunters one was an order the other two are for sale here on the forum. First let me say that Rick Garcia did the leather work and it sure makes my knives look great. His link is at the bottom of the post.
Steel 3/16 ATS 34, professional Heat Treat to 58-60 Rc 1 1/2" wide
Overall length 11 5/8", Handle and guard 5 1/4" wood part of handle 4 5/8" blade 6 1/4"
Handle is Desert Ironwood, brass guard (soldered in place) with red fiber spacers.
Very nice hunter, good balance and light in the hand. Its not sharp yet so you can pick your bevel 15 degrees or 22 1/2 degrees.
