I don't see it.....The piece is well represented by the photos....
Those photos aren't retouched?

On my monitor it looks like it's been run through photoshop, or an image editing program. Almost "painted" looking.

Hi.
Looks like you are relatively new to the forum. Welcome. Most of us who have been doing this a while are used to seeing processed pictures and have come to appreciate them. If you have an example of a knife picture which you think is really good but has NOT been subjected to any image editing, I think if you posted it in a new thread it could start an interesting discussion of this topic - which I am not sure I have seen here.

John Skierka: You are absolutely correct; I spent a lot of time in Photoshop displaying this. I keep in mind one major aspect: I'm in advertising, not journalism. Funny, how the evolution of knife photography has dictated it to be so. I'm not alone.
Yes, there is an extra dosage of contrast and saturation, just like any advertisement of a product in a magazine. We like our supermodels with their makeup on.![]()
