I have gotten used to carrying larger knives, so i am looking to trade for something bigger, however i wouldn't mind hanging on to this classy knife if i don't find what i'm looking for.
It's a small Chris Reeve Classic Sebenza with African Blackwood inlays. This was a custom order from Chris Reeve directly, with double gold thumb lugs and gold backspacer, and a tumbled blade. My understanding is that it's had a few owners, but it is in excellent condition, wear are marks are very minimal, most of which is on the pocket clip, i noticed a small hairline scratch on the front top wood inlay, nothing major at all but i just want to be upfront about it. I personally have only carried it a handful of times and only used to to cut up fruit. It had what appeared to be a factory edge when i received it, i only barely touched it up on the sharpmaker, it is very sharp.
This is a very smooth sebenza, it has a nice clank when the blade closes and the ball detent engages. It is perfectly centered, and when locked up it locks up solid with no play. It locks up early like at 35-40%, there is a tiny amount of lock stick sometimes, nothing major at all. It has a leather lanyard that goes very well with the overall look. Comes with box, birthcard and papers, cloth, allen wrench, and leather slip pouch. This is a very classy sebenza, it is my personal favorite iteration of the small sebenza, i like the different lines compared to a 21, i have yet to try a regular so i can't compare it to that.
So what am i looking for? Primarily my interest is in a Strider SNG Lego i like the digicam blades, ranger green G10, orange G10. Other possibilities CRK StarTac Zaan, SMF, maybe BM 42. Anything high end is what i'm looking for. Thanks for looking, i hope i answered all questions otherwise just ask. Oh and if it's a strider i'm only interested in new lock up models.
Thanks
