small EDC

There's a lot of interest in the Techno. I have one on my desk right now, and it's a favorite.
However, don't get the idea that it's going to be a great slicer. Some folks will talk about the "thickness behind the edge" and that's obviously correct, or Krein's regrinds wouldn't be so famous.
But, let's look at the numbers...the blade thickness of these two full-flat grinds.
Spydero Delica 4 Full-Flat Ground has a spine thickness of 0.094".
The Techno has a thickness of 0.177"...almost twice as thick as the Delica.

Which one is known to be a slicer?
Of course, the Techno is great blade for heavy-duty potential (in a short blade). After all, the Techno is ALMOST as thick as the Strider SMF...which is 0.190" and is known to be a sharpened pry-bar...of sorts. It just depends on what you're trying to do.
(Yes, I like Strider and love my SMF.)

Yea the techno looks like a beefy little thing.. But I really like the looks of the blade shape and the handle when it's closed... I think it's a little more than I'd spend on it though unfortunately..

I'll give you a short list of knives to maybe look into.
Spyderco Dragonfly(you can get it in pink).
Spyderco Squeak(you can also get this in pink).
Spyderco Chicago or Cat.

If the choil isn't so important:
Kershaw Chive, Scallion, or Leek(comes in many different colors)
