Small Fixed Blade Defensive Knife

Hardcore Hardware Australia LFK series. They are a bit over your budget but they are nice knives.

resurrecting this thread as I'm in the same market. Small fixed blade carried on my weak side(left) mostly for firearm retention. Here are some knives that I have and currently testing. I'm doing a video on my youtube about small fixed blades for self defense/weapon retention. Not sure when it will be finished.

Ka Bar TDI
Benchmade Azeria-basically a wharny TDI
Clinch Pick
Benchmade SOCP
Schrade SCH111 Karambit-on the way
Schrade schhf54 push dagger-on the way
Schrade SCHF16-bigger but the stock sheath takes soft loops for belt carry. Nice reverse tanto blade.
Flagrant Beard Havoc-on the way. new release
Cold Steel Mini Tac Tanto-on loan from a friend. modified for belth carry with a Spyderco G Clip
Dmax Karambit-also borrowing from a friend.

So far, the SOCP is my favorite. Though it can't be carried Horizontal, the sheath clips to your rear pocket and is very fast to deploy with the ring. I wanted to include some budget offerings and there are a lot of good choices for not a lot of cash.

I have a trc urban tactical in Vanadis 4 extra steel it's black G10 with black dlc coating and it's around 3.5 in . I'm not saying that it's the beat option but for me it's pretty close

Automatic knives are legal in Missouri and are sold by a few gun stores. My question is why would you take a knife to a gun fight? And I believe pepper spray is a better bet then a knife for self defense.

For me it's about weapon retention. Someone goes for my gun, in those close quarters a small fixed blade is going to be a better option than most.
