That's him, looks like he has upgraded the blade steel and pricing since his last runs...mine is S35VN, not CPM-20CV (basically M390). Also looks like he had to move the production from China to the US so that added some additional cost.
They become available from time to time on the individual's Exchange so you may want to keep an eye out there, plus check the knife makers Exchange for the Lime Cutters that are also available when Nighthaxan makes some but they go quickly. I also have a stretch lime cutter that is really nice and priced right (that is why they go quickly).
Lots of way to go. For the money I say
BK11/14
Buck 113 or small BuckLite MAX
Many of the other knives mentioned are nice but over what you want to spend.
In your stated price range I would definitely second the recommendations for either a Becker BK14 or an ESEE Izula. I have and Izula and think its great but if you get a chance to handle in person and see what you like that would best. The Izzy II has a slightly longer handle and if it feels better to you that would answer your question of if its worth the extra coin. And like Whitty said, be vary wary of fakes out there if the price looks too good to be true on one of these. Make sure you buy from a reputable dealer.
Ooops, looks like you got one...check the serial number when you get it because 51455 is most definitely a fake. I should know, I have 2 of them bought at a gun show (that is for Izula 1's) :grumpy:
If the price wasn't stupid low I'm sure you're fine. I think the regular Izzy is probably faked way more than the II; I'm trying to remember if I've even seen any pictures of counterfeit II's before. Someone out may be able to verify but I'm pretty sure the serial number that pops on most of the fake Izula's is 51455.
EDIT: Looks like coinbuysell beat me to the punch with the fake serial number.
You might have missed it on the forum rules but now you must post every day. Telling us about what you did with your knife / what knife you want next / Or why someone else knife choice is stupid.
enjoy the Izula. Good knife.
