Maybey a Mantis Seymour?
Very affordable...
If the bladesteel isnt right,
a Mantis "The Principal" might be better (a little moar expensive)

Hey Lazyspoiledkitty,

First off, I'm a fan of your vids. : ) I really like the Swamp Rat Swamp Warden. Great steel with an awesome heat treat on the SR 101 steel. Excellent warranty (it's a bussikin). Mine rides in a horizontal kydex sheath made by a member here on the forum for $25. I never even know it's there till I need it.

Here's mine

You might also check out some of the EDC blades from David Farmer. He is a custom maker who makes nice EDC type fixed blades for very affordable prices. I have several of his blades but my favorite is this tactical drop point here. It's a super slicer!

Good luck on whatever you choose. I will await a video to see what you picked! :)

Wow :), thank you for the kind words, always a pleasure to hear from a viewer of my videos!! Thank you for the support and i might make a video asking the same question on youtube, we'll see :).

You might want to try a Fallkniven WM1(VG10 or 3G), or Bark River Essential EDC (CPM-M4). Great little knives!

Definetly check out BRKT, they have a number of really nice fixed blades in the 2.5 - 3.0 inch range. Another idea is the Boker Perrin Neck Bowie. A very nice necker w/2.5 inch blade.

i know the feeling. i too have a 3" fixed blade addiction courtesy of my Fallkniven WM1-3G.

Here are some of my small 'uns...the Koyote Convex edc is just perfection...with my izula 2 and scrapyard mud puppy- a little brute!

Have you looked at any of the JK Knives? He's listed in the Knife Makers Discussion section. He makes several small fixed blades. I think he has a link to his website in his section.

So many small FB's have handles that are too small. If I can't get 4 fingers on the handle I pass it up. I have had luck with David Farmer's customs. I have two; a 3.5" spear point in 1095 and osage orange, and a 3.75" clip point with beautiful maple. They get carried on weekends. I also can recommend the large Tiger Knapp in O1 by Blind Horse Knives.

Yup. Get a fixed-blade so you can lean on it like you can't on a folder, and have that cancelled out by a handle that is uncomfortable. 0___0

That's my beef with the BK-11 I just acquired. Even with grips (that cost > the knife), that bottle-cap lifter digs into my hand when I try serious use (as is we didn't have twist-off caps). A nice after-market item would be something that bolts on through the two holes in the butt to cover that cap-lifter. Then it would be an honest three-finger handle for me, instead of two fingers and a gouge.

I'll see how the BRKT necker works out.

Mora Mora Mora Mora. If you do not have a Mora, get one. Get more than one, the Mora the better (haha, get it?). Seriously though, you can't go wrong with a Mora if you want a small and great knife. If you have a larger wallet, you can look at Fallkniven or Helle for higher end Scandi grind blades. Scandi grinds are, in my opinion, the best for sharpness and ease of resharpening/maintaining the edge.

Hey I don,t have any photo,s to post but, I highly suggest you check out Eddie White of SHADOW KNIVES. His prices are great & the the man has made more Knives in his life than you can imiage, shadowknives.com

If you like neckers, the Fehrman one (thruhiker?), is fantastic, and the handle is big enough

+1 on the Spyderco Street Beat. That's my EDC. Carries easily in a pocket once you take off the TecLock or G clip.

Also recommend the Bark River Pro Scalpel or Anza knives.
