First off I am a fan of your youtube vids. I am dtownknives on youtube, but sadly i dont have informative videos of my own yet. Secondly I am also a huge fan of small fixed blades.

With what you asked for, the first thing that came to mind was Bark River. BRKTs cut like demons, and if you are worried about the convex grind they can be sharpened on sharpmakers just fine. If you want something similar to your Izula I'd suggest a bravo necker. Its affordable and in my experience cuts better than the Izula. I also like the way they did the coating much better; it just looks nicer IMHO. The two complaints most people have are the skinnier handle and the fit of the sheat, however I have not had a problem with either.
Heres a pic with mine in it, as well as all my other fixed blades. It is the red knife with the yellow cord wrap.

My favorite small fixed blade though is the BRKT mini fox river. My particular model has a speckled ambrosia wood handle, but they can be had in all sorts of natural and synthetic handle materials. They are a bit pricier, but in my opinion are worth every penny. The A2 blade takes and holds a great edge and cuts amazingly well, it processes wood like a dream for such a small knife. The handles are smooth if that matters to you but i have never had a problem with my hand slipping, and they are amazingly comfortable even for long jobs. The leather sheath can be carried either vertically, or crossdraw like I prefer. Now along with the function comes the form; in my opinion the natural handle materials on many of these knives make them absolutely beautiful and unique.
Here are some pics of mine.

Tell me about m390 please. Never heard of that steel before.

To the OP. The Gossman UNK is an awesome little slicer.

Im no metalurgist But from what i understand its boehlers latest supersteel offering.
Ive heard it has off the charts edge retention, bowing only to cpm-s90v, and cts-20cp in that category. Corrosion resistance is also said to be high, but it supposed to be challenging to sharpen.
Correct me if im wrong.

I'm a fan of the Dozier Canoe with the horzontal kydex sheath. Just bought a Condor neck knife to try out. Have it but have not cut anything with it yet. But it seems like a nice little carbon steel knife. The price is very attractive. I don't see many comments on these on the forum.
