This is a problem pistol permit holder's deal with every summer one solution is inside the waist band carry this will cover most of the knife your shirt will cover the rest another way to carry is in one of those small fanny packs worn in front they are popular every body has one on the trail and you won't get a second look from the faint of heart most are large enough for your F-1 and with room to spare.another way to go is to just buy a large locking pocket knife and carry it in your pocket there are hundreds of great pocket knives from many makers just find one that you like and have fun

I love the mini canadian style but the knife itself is WAY too thick for it's size. It is more like a sharp wedge than a blade. That is just my pet peeve with Bark River. I like almost every model but they go off the deep end as far as stock thickness.

There's a Game Warden in stock at the Busse Company Store... I have one, and it's rock-solid.

I also second the recommendations for the Bark River Knives; I have a couple of them too and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Thanks a LOT, Walkabout!! :grumpy: I would have been just fine with a Mini-North Star or even a Rat-3. But NOOO! You had to post a link to the evil heroINFI of knives!!! Game Warden ordered. :D

My pleasure :) The Game Warden feels like a lot of knife in a small package. In addition to being great knives, both the Busse and Bark Rivers share the difficulty of just buying one... let the addiction begin!

Now... I'll go back to scrolling through the handle choices on the Barkies at http://www.dlttradingcompany.com/ :)
