Hello, I have a Benchmade 211 activator that is just such a cool little knife, and I am looking for more stuff like that. What companies do you know of that make fixed blades with a 3 inch or under blade with a price anywhere from $100 to $500? I already know of ezee, anza, benchmade, pohl force, and a few others. I am just looking to get a nice list of good neck knives together. Any info is appreciated.

I have posted this before, it's the perfect necker for me...

Tops has a bunch of neck knives, the white river backpacker is really cool, the bradford guardian 3, Becker necker, Brous Silent Soldier, I want to say as a budget option CRKT came out with a 3" neck knife this year.

Bradford Guardian3, Becker Remora, HardEdgeKnives Squall

If you look at the knifemakers subforum here, under the 'for sale' section for fixed blades you can often see neck knives going up for sale for reasonable prices and that are hand-hade.

I'll second the BR Neckers, especially in 3V. The Fallkniven WM1 is also a great little knife, either as a necker or a pocket knife.

Don't get some production blade that a million other people have.
For around $100 you can get a handmade knife that was actually built FOR YOU.
A handmade knife is much more meaningful than a production knife.

It almost becomes a heirloom after a while.

Just my .02

The knifemaker's here are out of this world!

LT Wright skeleton key (D2), Ambush Sentry (3v), and the Blackjack neck knife (154cm) all have blades 3" or less. The fiddleback runt might work as a neck knife too.

Cold Steel is soon to release the excellent Pendleton Mini Hunter neck/belt knife in 3V. It is available in VG1, now. This is a full tang knife with a 3 inch blade but the over all length is only around 6 inches.

I have many smallish/er fixed blades, the majority are customs and very affordable.

Here's my latest from Charles in the custom fixed blade forum...

When it comes to small fixed blades by member knife makers, there really are enough options to make your head spin. But manufacturers and retailers need love too, so get a couple of each :) Also, have a look at the LFK variations by Hardcore Hardware Australia.
