Small Fixed Blades

Your price range is broad, which give you a lot of options. Dawson Knives has a lot in the $200-$300 range that are handsome, durable, and what I suppose would be called semi-custom. I like this one, the "Gentleman's Pocket Knife."

Im liking those polished Jasper stones as well!

The BM Snody Activator is a cool little knife. You might like the Bark River Essential in CPM-M4 steel, one of my favorite of the many Bark River small fixed blades.

There are many custom maker in the forum that make some excellent small fixers. I have many from outstanding makers like Alan Davis, Big Chris, Andy Roy (Fiddleback Forge) and Bill Akers (Backwoods Customs). This one is a Bill Akers Back Pocket pattern.

Of all the small fixed blades I have and own, the Winker Necker is what is on my short list.

It is really hard to make a small fixed bade that pleases, and the only makers that have thus far met my satisfaction are as follows.

Bob Dozier - The best D2 out there, a long wait list or a mark-up, you choose. A.G Russel is my buying choice for resellers.

Fred Perrin - small and artful knives, geared towards the martial artist, but containing soul.

Bud Nealy -one of the most under-rated knife makers out there IMHO, the guy is incredible.

Nice assortment, Paul! Really like the Matt Bailey. Is that one second from the bottom in the first photo an Alan Davis? Also, who made that beautiful sharpfinger?

Hey Paul if you don't mind me asking what is the fourth knife from the top? The one with the Orange handles and Wharncliffe blade, thanks man.

I always liked the looks of the Murray Carter Neck knives but until I owned and used one I didn't fully appreciate the beauty of the design. Now I own 2 of them. I have been considering BRKT's Adventurer II based upon the Carter Neck Knife.

Here are some other custom small fixed blades. From top to bottom:

Big Chris S90V
Koster Karda 3V
J. Rosa Neck Knife 3V
Murray Carter Neck Knife Shiro-gami
Alan Davis 52100 (I think)
