Small gentlemens knife for every day use

I use a Buck Nobleman, small, SS handle, thumbstud, and its cheap! It's held its edge, but I would be careful with the tip as it is a little fragile, gentlemans knife with the more modern folder look.

Three come to mind, all lockbacks. Two traditionals: the Buck 55 with wood (dymondwood?) and brass handle. It's something of an icon for pocket knives. The Case Minicopperlocks, compatible in size adn stlye to the 55, but more of a gentlemen's knife with your choice of colored bone, stag, and exotica on the handle. The modern one is the Spyderco Dragonfly with stainless steel handles.

How about a Spyderco Kopa? Fits your size requirements, excellent construction, and can be found on the secondary market (they're all discontinued now) in a variety of inlay materials.

Or for something very nice, yet inexpensive, how about an SRM-702, or SRM-738? IMO, both are very gentlemanly looking little knives that are extremely inexpensive.

Have a look at the "folders" for sale by maker.
Great stuff there. Don't rush, find one you love and good luck.

That is a nice knife, can you tell me something about the quality of this particulair knife?

(Kershaw Indian Ford) It's a china made $15 knife. I think it's AUS6A stainless steel. It's nothing to write home about, but for 15 bucks I like it and I have no quality control issues with mine. Honestly I don't even know of a nicer GM folder for that price.

I really just thought I'd throw it out there because I know everyone in here has a different opinion on what "reasonable price" means. Someone recommended a Sebenza, after all. Well here's the other end of the spectrum.
