Small knife that can double as a tie clip?

Carry a small slipjoint. Carried a Victorinox Cadet for years Citibank Intel IBM and few others never viewed it as a weapon. Only once was I asked to check it with security and get it on the way out.
Even then I had a Classic on my key ring which was observed but ignored.
How much blade do you think you need behind a screen?

Not sure what your budget is, but William Henry makes some beautiful little folder that coincidentally, have beautiful, artful titanium clips that would show. Great craftsmanship and top tier materials. There are several up for sale on usual sites for around $380. Weight a couple of oz (which is important when you’re wearing it on your tie, because if it is heavier a little slip.) and about 2.5”.

And, best of all, and something that not a lot of people talk about, (and we should be) they are made in USA.

Good luck!

Hello everyone!

Like all of you, I feel completely helpless and naked without at least a small blade on me. Unfortunately, my new job doesn’t allow me to carry any sort of weapon. Our bags and pockets are checked when we enter the building.

For the past week I tried carrying a small Cobratec Mini Mamba OTF as a tie clip, and no one looked twice at it.

I am wondering what other small non-OTF knives might be able to double as a tie clip, likely nothing larger than 2.5 inches when closed. Any suggestions?

Thanks!
I feel like you are trolling again, like that business with your other accounts defending each other. Or, do you have a good reason why you are trying to sneak a knife somewhere they aren't allowed?

Best answer here is to follow the rules of a place or don't go to that place.

Sooo, let me make sure I got this right; you willingly took a job from an employer, that one of the conditions of said employment is no knives. So now, you're collecting the paycheck, but want to smuggle in a knife so you don't feel naked."

If you like the job, or need the paycheck, just grow up a little and don't carry a knife to work.

I guess you'll survive the day in the office cubicle just fine. Just think, millions of non knife nut people go about their day with no knife at all. Theres no bodies laying in the streets because they didn't have a knife. But it its that important to you, go get another job.

Find another job asap.
Yes, lets get him to quit his decent paying job over being able to carry a knife...

........... or are you being facetious, if not - you win the smooth brain comment of the day.

How do you know it is decent paying? He no doubt agreed to abide by this rule but now wants to break it. The honest thing to do if you do not want to abide by rules you agreed to follow is to go somewhere else with rules that you can agree to and follow.

That isn't a smooth brain comment. It is common sense and being a decent human. Plus, he'll be finding a new job anyway, when he gets fired for violating the rules he agreed to follow.

Microtech UTX 70! The perfect thing for opening letters at the desk, or a package, light work. And it's good if any commies drop through the roof need stickin'
Just tell your boss that you don't have a knife, wink, and give him an elbow bump. That way he knows you're ready.

A clerk in a retail store told me that they routinely searched the employees for contraband. I don't know what kind of job the OP has, but I wouldn't be so sure that it's worth a daily shake-down. I, for one, don't go places that don't allow a pocketknife and if you want to look in my pockets, you'll need a warrant.

Just like to point out that OP hasn’t replied to anyone. It’s been 5 days and they were on yesterday. Likely another troll post by them.
Another troll post? Or maybe just busy with a toddler? Geeze you people…
