Small knife

What is your favorite small outdoors knife? Small knife wise I only have a multi-tool and swiss army knife. Those aren't that comfortable in my hand so I want to buy a small knife. I don't want it to be that expensive though.

Here is a Spyderco Military and PT strider for size comparison. But the Millie carries just as small IMO.

I don't want to spend much more than $30 on this knife. I was looking at the Pendelton Mini hunter by C.S. but it is a little expensive for a knife of that size.

Two other great folders for less money is the dragonfly ($40) and Salt ! ($60) The Salt is incredible as a user and around the kitchen and other wet chores. Worry free and rust free.

For $30. the Spyderco tenacious hands down. Best buy in a knife i ever made. I use mine for hard chores in the yard. Get Plain edge.

I was under the impression the tenacious was a large knife? Opposite of what the OP is looking for.

Definitely the Tenacious mentioned above. Around $30, much greater value, all around a very good knife.

$30 or less doesn't give you too many options that aren't really small blades. The Spyderco Tenacious is probably the best bet. The Ladybug Salt has the advantage of the H1 steel but it's probably going to be too small for an outdoors knife.

But if you download the catalog (smaller of the two), you'll see it. They have it in stock. New Graham had it but is out currently.

I guess my definition of small is different than everyone elses. Almost 4 1/2 inches closed is large to me with anything over 5" extra large.

If 4 1/2" is small to you guys I would hate to see what large is.

at 4oz and a blade length a tad over 3" that IS small.
