Small knife

I just realized that I completely forgot to answer the original post in my previous posts. My favorite outdoor knife is probably either my Opinel #8, which it handles like a champ, or my Sodbuster Jr. with CV blades and yellow handle. That Sodbuster Jr. takes a beating and keeps on going. A few seconds with a ceramic stick and it's back to work.

Would the Rat-1 be affected by the new law enforced by customs? If not I am going to buy this one tonight.

If that law goes through you will need to buy a knife that you can't open with one hand...as far as I can tell. I collect some slipjoints, but always carry a one hand opener, as most do.

That leaves you with buying a slipjoint or older lockback type(such as Buck 110's etc...). If you limit yourself to what may happen. And if it does happen you'll be glad you own at least one, one handed opener!

No one at this point can really answer your question though.

I say buy either one you want and don't worry about that at all, and get them while you can just in case.
I didn't open the link yet, but if its a PLAIN edge RAT-1 at that price I would jump on that. One hell of a sturdy folder, and feels great in hand. At $34, I'm about to go grab one for a beater house knife, if PE.

edit- he says he has PE and SE, but he put them in the same auction??? Just ordered 2 and specified PE in PP notes as asked.

I am going to buy the RAT-1 but I forgot about the RAT laser strike. I think it is small but how expensive is it?
