Small Manual Flippers with 2.25-3.25 inch Blades

There aren't nearly enough good 3-inch flippers. Here's a forthcoming value-priced Kershaw flipper that, mercifully, isn't assisted --

That Kershaw Nura 3.0 KVT Flipper looks real nice with an exact 3" blade. Wish they'd also make a version with a better steel.

There really are not enough quality 3" manual flippers on the market in the $100-$250 range. Some of the ones in this thread are a tad over in length.

I did get a few more small manual flippers since September but they're all high end pricey models: Hinderer XM-18 (3"), Curtiss F3 Compact (2.33"), Brian Tighe Tighenee "Tighe Rod" Gold (2.9"), Rod Olson Quick Flick LSCF (3"). The Olson is my favorite of all of them in this thread.

I also got two okay ones: Benchmade 300-1 and Brous Bionic.

The new Spyderco Dice which is a smaller sub 3" flipper has promise but so far the blade looks too wide. A Southard Mini and/or ZT 0801 Mini with 3" blades would be great.

I look forward to the Dice precisely because of the wide blade. :)
Also because the earlier Domino is a winner, except maybe for the scale.

RamZar, I am curious on the Brian Tighe Tighenee "Tighe Rod" and Rod Olson Quick Flick LSCF. How do they flip? I have been eyeing them both but unsure on their flipping action?

Once you clean up/lube the Vantage, it works pretty well. Here is my small (a little easier due to lighter blade) in action. No wrist flick needed. Just watch the first minute.

Both flip great and Olson is the best overall of any in this thread. Olson uses a button lock and the Tighe uses a lockback that's part of the handle (Glenn Klecker's NIRK locking mechanism). The Olson is my main carry these days (as well as a fun flipper) along with the William Henry B12 Atlas.

Two new ones: Kizer 3404A3 (plain) and Kizer 3404A1 (skull).

I didn't realize you had an Olson, nice. The two I handled were fantastic, it was a case of immediate lust driven in part by my growing appreciation for a well done button lock.

The Olson Quick Flick is hands down my best little flipper and a sleeper. It's a constant battle between it and the WH B12 Atlas which is also a button lock but unfortunately not a flipper. So much for my big beefy titanium frame locks which I love but I live in L.A. and overall I'm sensitive to people's impractical / unfounded perceptions of knives.

I bought an Olson Quick Flik last month. It is a fantastic folder, glassy smooth, superb action, perfect button lock.
It is my favorite folder now.

The world needs more 3" folders like this.

This knife is so much nicer than a Sebenza it makes me wonder why anyone would even bother with those anymore.

I have the CRKT Tighe Rod model. Flips extremely well.

My latest small flipper with a 3" blade is the Spyderco Rubicon with that gorgeous CF.

Looks great except I can't get past the Kershaw-style clip. Gorgeous blade! If the price drops below that of a Sebenza, I may snatch one up :)

My most recent 3" flippers: Kershaw Nura 3.0, Guardian Tactical Exilis and Brous Blades Bionic 2.0.

I have the original Bionic, love everything but the clip. Hate single screw clips, they always seem to come loose.
