Small Sebenza "Sans Clip"

I saw a "plug"for the clip hole on the CRK website which got me thinking. How many of you carry the small Sebenza (or any other CRK) without a clip, or just don't use the clip? I lost a fairly expensive BM auto opener years ago which taught me how easy it is to snag and lose a clipped knife. I find the small Sebenza to be a real easy knife to carry loose in the pocket and have been carrying it that way. The clip also seems to help over extending the lock bar when closing the knife so maybe it should stay, even if I just cary the Sebenza loose in the pocket, clip and all.

Just checking to what other small Sebenza carriers think.
 
I like clips on my Sebenzas but remove the clip on my Mnandi's, to me they do fine in my pocket or in their case.

I remove the clip on my inlay sebenzas because I pouch carry them. The plain ones I clip on my pocket.
 
No clips for me ever. I carry my Small in the change compartment of my wallet.
 
Clip free since 1998. Large models go in a sheath, small either loose in pocket or slip case.
 
For my smalls I take off the clip and just drop it in my pocket with my keys. I do sometimes use the pocket slip but not all the time. My three larges have clips but I find I don't really carry/use them.
 
I remove the clip from my Large Sebenzas because I market a line of custom crafted leather belt sheaths made especially for the Large Seb, and prefer to carry that way.
The clip on my Small Sebenza is removed because I prefer to pocket carry it in the CRK calfskin pouch, or again in one of my custom designed belt sheaths.
I also remove the clip on all of my Mnandis because I prefer to carry them in a custom made goatskin pouch made by a fellow leather craftsman in Oregon.
So, all of my knives have the clip removed, for the reasons stated. :)
 
I am clip free as well. All my large sebenzas go in a pouch or on the rare occasion, the back pocket. And they all have the clip insert.
 
Wow, there are more "clipless" carriers than I thought. I think I will order the plug for the clip hole.

The Clip Insert is a nice touch for your Sebenza. I think you will be glad you got one. Comes with a screw as well and fits nicely. :thumbup:
 
I also have to have my clip.
I've actually lost or misplaced more knives by having them loose in my pocket.

No clips for me.

Have almost lost two knives due to pocketclips.

Belt sheath 99% of the time for me.

For the other 1% of the time I have a nice leather clipcase.
