Small walk and a few knives

kgd those are some awesome pics and the knives WOW:D they look great:D:thumbup: I just had some wild grapes not to long ago at
one of my Aunt's house. Seeing that pic made me think of that.
That osage wood is really looking good. I am going to make me up
knife with that wood to go with a axe I have.
I am with Brian you need to carry more knives LOL

Love the pics of where you hike at.

Bryan

Bryan - you know I love those knives of yours. That peacefinder is used day in and day out in the kitchen. It is a pleasure to pull her out into the woods every once in a while!

P.S. wife re-claimed her kat-knife. It resides in her purse-PSK. She said to me the other day. You know, when you have a real knife in your purse, all of a sudden you find so many uses for it.

Funny, half my family is in your neck of the woods...well Southern Ontario but not quite Windsor.
I have only been out to the "Giant" once, but will take my son there next summer for some camping.

Take Care

The knees is a full day hike CKE2 and needs the weather to cooperate. If your son is in his teens he should be able to do it. It isn't a light hike. Best to sleep at the campground overnight and leave early in the morning. When you get up there you will be treated to the highest sheer cliffs in the area. Gorgeous. Ever since I've been up there I wanted to take a small tarp and sleep on top for the night. Not technically allowed but the kind of trail where you can do it if you keep your wits about you.

This was the last time I was in T-bay...I'm the goof in the white - now that is the colour of my hair :)
