• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

smallest real axe

Never seen a review, but it seems like it'd work just fine for smaller tasks...

Pretty small, if that's what you're looking for!

I saw one at the Alamo, an original from the early 1800's, it looked excactly like the one I got from Cabelas called a "Mouse Hawk". I'm not sure on the overall weight but the head is approx 8 ozs. with a 16 inch oak haft I made it will sure throw chips even in hard woods. Thats the smallest I've personally used...my opinion is that lenght=velocity. The really short types like Gerber may be compact but I can get just as much chopping energy from a 7-8 inch knife. just my .2 best to all anrkst

That is a fine lookin' little Craftsman Trent Rock. I saw one just like it yesterday at an antique mall for $10... I might have to go back and grab it. :D

Jeff
They go for 30-40 on EBAY
I bought it as a thrower
But, I am afraid to break the original handle now!!! lol:eek:
