Smalls - Who Likes Small Folders?

I love my CRKT M-16. I have the titanium version. This is the one I have -> crkt m-16 titanium pocket knife. The handle is a little small for me, but I love the blade shape and I think that it is one of the top sold knives of all time. The handle is a tad slippery when wet though so I think I may switch it out for the g10 version.

You mean small like this CRC Intercast? (Technically a bracelet charm, but...whatever...) Found in a garage sale. Thought it was cool.

And I thought my little white imperial was small, thanks for nothing :D

Seriously though that thing is awesome, it may have my imperial beat as far as how small it is, but my imperial is probably a bit more functional ( it's probably the bare minimum of functional, but I have opened packages and mail with it )

There was a time when I absolutely would not carry a knife with a blade smaller than 3.5", but now more than half of my knives have blades shorter than 2.5".

... That's not to say I don't still like my bigger folders, though.

Haha, yeah, you have me beat if you can use the imperial. This one is practically unusable. The blade doesn't stay open at all. But it's interesting, so I like it!

Oh my Micro Commander is just straight dope! It feels kind of weird having such a little stout Emerson in your pocket compared to the usual g10 personal gravity increasers which are its brethren.

I really like some smaller knives. Usually carry ~ 3 1/2" - 4".
I'll usually carry a pair each day for work......one large & one small.

How you likin' that small Nilakka? I have the large with the unmodified blade that had the chipping problems, but it is such a cool knife!

There's another filding pukko from another brand that I think you can get with curly birch scales. Anyone remember it's name?

The crk mnandi has never let me down. While I like the idea of bigger knives I rarely come across a job the mnandi can't handle.

For a few decades I've been a huge fan of the little Victorinox classic. I carry it on my keyring so I can't leave home without it, and I use it more everyday than any other knife. Doesn't just cut, it snips screws, unscrews, files and plucks with tweezers.

Are you thinking of the Enzo Birk 75 by any chance? I had a cf handled one, great knives! And imo still under rated and over looked often.

I have a Dragonfly in stainless that I think is neat due to the design of the choil, allowing for a solid 4 finger grip on it. I also have a BM 484 that is less interesting, but I like how it looks. :)

Both of which may find themselves on the chopping block soon, in order to make room for another larger folder.

Small knives ?
I LOVE small knives. I carry an SAK Mini Champ everyday.
Totally love small knives (as long as I have something in the other pocket that will slice an apple or better yet a loaf of bread ;)).

Yes! The Enzo Birk is exactly the knife I was thinking of. I was wondering why I never hear anything about this knife?

I have seen the Nilakka models spoken about many times but never once the Birk? Is there a reason for this? I think part of what made the Nilakka so well known was that it was having problens with its paper thin zero ground edge. So it might have been more infamous than famous.

Yo if you can get Benchmade to send you extra thumbstuds that fit the Sequel or 940 they will screw together to fit perfectly through the hole in your Pingo blade. They fit like they were made for it.

Just looking at the picture I think they would fit your Roadie's hole too.

Yo I have the same little keychain SAK except mine has white scales. I want so badly to love this knife! Sadly Victorinox must have never tried this knife on a keychain ornthey would have noticed that the knife opens the wrong way! That's right, the knife actually unfolds in the direction ofnthe keys it is attatched to! It should face away so that way your keys just hang out the back of your hand when cutting.

I love my dragonfly, but it is somewhat lacking for pure every day tasks.
That's why my Dragonfly has been replaced by a Dice on work days and a small custom fixed blade on my days off. Not a whole lot bigger, but considerably more substantial.

I love small knives. When I found this used Schrade (USA) 807UH in a local store I just had to have it, and it got me back interested in traditionals. These days I frequently carry a Vic Rambler and a Case 6344 medium stockman. Although designated as "medium" the 6344 is fairly small, especially when compared with other Case medium stockmans such as the 6318.
