Smalls - Who Likes Small Folders?

Did someone say small knives? Major part of my collection consists of smaller-medium blades as I find them to actually be more useful in my day to day life :D
Snapped a few pictures of some pairs :D

I'd definitely say the spydie slipits should get some nicer scales from the factory but they are stellar knives; I actually have a third urban(K390) incoming at the moment

The crk mnandi has never let me down. While I like the idea of bigger knives I rarely come across a job the mnandi can't handle.
100% Agree!
Since I got my Mnandi last Christmas I have rarely carried any other knife I own. Every so often my small Insingo or Spydero Dragonfly find their way into my pocket, otherwise it's the Mnandi

I love 3" and smaller blades but seem to be going smaller and smaller with my choices lately. I just got the Squarehead and really like it!

Hey, what are the knives next to the roadie and the beerscout? Thanks in advance!

I've had a few smaller knives, but they are all gone save for one.

SOG Access Card 2.0 . This I keep because I can carry it when I wear a suit to work. And the handle is relatively wide, albeit thin, so I can get a decent grip.

I have big hands so a small knife is annoying due to the grip.

I had a Mini CQC7, a little Spyderco, and I'd love a small Sebenza, but they are tiny, like a baby.

Yo I have the same little keychain SAK except mine has white scales. I want so badly to love this knife! Sadly Victorinox must have never tried this knife on a keychain ornthey would have noticed that the knife opens the wrong way! That's right, the knife actually unfolds in the direction ofnthe keys it is attatched to! It should face away so that way your keys just hang out the back of your hand when cutting.

This is why I went to the bother of making the little leather keyring sheath for it. Aside from keeping the handle scales from being beat up by the keys and stuff, it also keeps the knife totally unattached so you can use it by just pulling stout of the sheath by the keyring and suing whatever end of the knife the tool of the moment is on. Having the knife right in hand without having a bunch of jangly keys attached to it is way better. When done, just slide back in sheath. Once in a while I soak the sheath in warm water and leave the knife out of it over night while it dries. Makes the sheath nice and snug again.

Am I the only one who carries them in my pocket not attached to keys ?

I think the Squarehead would have been 110x cooler if they had made the front flat edge of the blade into a chisel tip. This would have turned the little knife into an awesome little tool, with a scraper at the front.

Well then you need to look at the Boker Pelican!

I can't believe in all this time they haven't fixed the placement of that stupid key ring! Sometimes Victorinox baffles me. Like why do we not have an Alox model with toothpick and tweezers!? Now I might have to get a SwissBianco scale set in order to achieve the looks I want.

At one time they made a SAK with a money clip on it. Effectively it was like a SAK with a pocket clip. That is my mostndesired model.

I'm pretty sure I saw the money clip in a knifs catalog in the past few months.

Unless you primarily use the scissors rather than the knife blade in which case the key ring is on the correct end. It's all a question of how you primarily use your Classic. ;)

Yes that is true. To me the blade is the primary tool of any SAK. Also I am pretty sure if they wanted they could have all the tools on the Classic open in the same direction and the keyring on the other side.

Another argument for the Rambler. Not only does it add a Phillips screwdriver, bottle opener, and wire stripper while keeping essentially the same size as the Classic SD, the key ring is on the "correct" end. :D

Kershaw Ember
This one really isn't too bad despite being just an inexpensive Kershaw. It's a Rick Hinderer design and has a frame lock. It's a flipper, but can be pinched open but can be pinched open if I'm around people who might be "frightened" by that sort of thing. :p I removed the pocket clip because I don't like pocket clips all that much and the clip was way too strong and tight. Given its size it sits easily in the bottom of a pocket and I don't have to worry about scratching my watch when I reach in. I haven't carried it all that much, but I think I will work it into my daily rotation.
