So I registered just to share my experience with Smith & Wesson's warranty service. I purchased a Smith & Wesson OTF (SWOTF2B) and after about 3-4 months the spring started slipping off of the post that they are on to pull the blade open. I put them back on numerous times and eventually got fed up with it, and the last time I put it together I sheered a screw. So it sat for about 5 more months until I finally sent it back. About 5 days after sending it to them, to my delight, a yellow envelope arrived in the mail. I opened it up and saw that they had completely replaced the knife. :D ;) :thumbup: I just want to promote them and their what I view as fantastic customer service. Though I guess this would be a compliment to Schrade/Taylor Brands rather than S&W since they handle S&W's knife sales and warranty I believe. Overall couldn't be happier and recommend them to anyone, there warranty service is right up there with Kershaw's and maybe Gerber's. As I sent a knife to Gerber and have yet to receive it back.
