Smoke for Mrs. Nasty (aka SWMBO)

Ms. Nasty is on the list, and I,m glad to hear that she's being released. Good sign.

You are absolutely correct about taking care with cuts and such. In a former life (25 some years ago at an employer far, far, away) I backed into unguarded rotating machinery and got a silver-dollar-sized abrasion on my elbow. I finished what I was doing and maybe two hours later I washed it out and that was that.

So I thought.

Two weeks later I had a 101F fever, and a combined kidney-bladder-prostate infection. It took about two months to finally kill it. Docs concurred it came from the abrasion, because UTIs are not that common in males.

That was fun; Take my word for it. No more 411 than you have to know this time.

Yeah...tiny...1/32 of an inch. The Grand Canyon to a microbe I guess.

The Smoke was always there munk...it always is among the Catinistas. You just didn't know it I guess...but it was there and it worked. The whole thing could have turned the other way in a matter of hours.

It didn't...

.

I can imagine what you've been through.

Yes, it's always here. But you could have given this poor child something to pray for in specific.

Nasty, what the heck was she cut with?

Man. Blessings for the two of you.

Once Bill asked me if I needed a puja. (?) I said, 'Didn't you just do one? I feel like I got it already."
"You did." He said.

LOL...See? Bill knew...

She scraped her knuckle cleaning a heat vent. That's all...

.

Best wishes, Nasty.

Unless, of course, it's a subtle ploy to make sure you do the cleaning next time.

Very glad it's turning out OK.

This confirms what I've long thought; cleaning the house is a dangerous and often uneccesary obligation.

HAC vents often harbor trouble. Sounds like a job for spray disinfectant. Probably more than one lil' beastie around.

And I'll bet it didn't bleed very much either. Light to no bleeding wound + HAC vents = big trouble. :(

Any vent is trouble. Cuts from them always get infected. Never had one go the way Mrs Nasty's did.

This thread underscores what we know; life is fleeting and precious. Value each other.

Take care of Mrs. Nasty, she sounds like a great lady (she puts up with you doesn't she). :D :footinmou :D

Mrs. Nasty is a competent and verbal lady. She has no problem confronting Nasty and without her the poor dope would be a basket case.

Thank goodness she's alright!

Whoa! Not good. Sorry to hear, Nasty. An infection doesn't care who you are, how mean or how big. Or how loved....

Glad she is getting better, and my 3rd and last ndn sage smudge will send some curative good your wife's way.

Big Bob said it for me. It's the little ones that don't bleed enough that always get infected it seems. Your own blood is an excellent cleanser when allowed to flow copiously, but not too copiously. ;) :D
I would rather spring a good leak than have one of those little sore, barely cut, places anywhere.

And of course Smoke will be sent for one of my favorite niecelings.:D
