My wife ordered me some display cases from SMKW and when they came, one of them had the finish damaged from the tape used in packing. She e- mailed them just to mention it to them and see what they would say. We got an e-mail from them today saying that they were sending another case Express Mail to make up for it, and just to make sure, were sending two in case one got damaged in transit. I think thats great service, too bad more companies can't be like that.

Wow! That was pretty nice of them Jake. I know that they stand behind their products, but to send you something that you didn't ask for is damn good.

Too bad they don't wholesale!

just so you know SMKW does have a wholesale dept, the number for them is 800-251-9306 and ask to speak with the dealer dept.
by the way phantom are you going to the new site eKnifeWorks.com or one of the old ones?

What about the http://www.eknifeworks.com website don't you like? I thought it looked good enough, though it's a little slow to load.

As for SMKW itself, I've been a customer for...gosh... it must be about ten years now. I think they're great.
