Smoothest Spyderco

I have quite a few Spydercos, but I must say that the smoothest one to me is the Gayle Bradley 1.

I was just opening it and realized this.

Definitely the case.

(Maybe it's the whiskey talking.)

What do you guys think?

I think the Sage 3 is considered by many (myself included) to be one of the smoothest knives in the Spyderco lineup.

That's a tough one...for what I have and have handled I have to say my domino or my manix xl Dlc...sage 3 and southard were very close too

I know this is going to sound plain weird. My smoothest Spyderco is a Caly 3 that I have had and used for a good while (I can't remember when I bought it but it was right after they were introduced with the laminated zdp-189). It is really a work of art. I cannot say about the GB as I have not owned one, but it would have to be something to be smoother than this Caly 3, which is better than knives costing much more.

My smoothest Spyderco is the 2013 forum Native, you'd think it was on bearings, smooth as glass.

Caly 3 that I've had for years seems to get smoother every time I open it. Slysz bowie is super smooth and drops freely, almost feels like bearings. I had a gb1 that was super slick. The stretch hap40 that I just got is nice and smooth.

My domino is very smooth but not flipping very well at the moment. I grooved the washers facing the bearings just like I did on my southard by over tightening the pivot. I think I'm going to send it in to get freshened up.

Volotton that I had before was very smooth as well. I guess the smoothest spidie in my experience is tiachung models on pb washers..

The blade on my Rubicon almost free falls closed with the lockbar engaged. The PPT, Yojimbo, Zulu, and GB2 are very smooth as well

very fast and smooth. Unfortunately out of production but if you keep your eyes open they occasionally pop up.

Sage 3 is definitely one my smoothest knives. My Manix 2 and Native in G10 are really smooth too.

+1 on the sage 3. Massively noticeable difference compared to my 20 or so other spyderco including most of the ones mentioned already.
