This is a knife for those who like cutting vs. stabbing blades. Excellent semi-skinner for anything from squirrels to deer. Plus, just a great light carry knife for the hiker and camper. Blade is Cryo'd D-2, flatground from 1/8"stock and is 3 7/8" long by 3/4" wide. Distal taper and Mirror polish.
Handle shape is an exact mirror reflection of the blade and has a brass bolster. Dyed, stabilized maple burl and brass/copper mosaic pins are from Frank Jacobs. Thong hole liner is brass. Sheath is wet formed 6/7 oz vegetable tanned leather, hand stitched and treated with SNO-seal. Knife weighs about 2 oz. Price is $125.00 plus $4.00 shipping in Conus. I'm at joelcb@pennswoods.net.....................SOLD

It's not often that I see a knife that makes me gawk and reply, but this one certainly did.

IMHO, it is a master's work of art, too beautiful to be used, and seriously underpriced.

Unfortunately, I've already used up my 2006 knife budget :(

I suppose I should chastise you severely for yore pecuniary excesses....but thanks for the compliment. The only thing is there isn''t a thing on that knife you'll hurt in normal use; just a nice combination. Design got stuck in my head for about a year. I kept telling it to go away, but it wouldn't; So I finally built it. And yeah the price is too low, but like I said in another thread(may have been here or one of the other sites I post at)....I'm new to selling on the internet and am willing to take, for a short while, a hit on my prices in order to establish a bit of a reputation among all these folks that don't know me. I've been a "local"maker for 7/8 years. All the knives I've posted here are a bit on the low side in price.....but you do what you gotta do. Ahem....save your money next time..........just in case

Great looking knife!! dang!! I can't wait until I can charge those prices again.

Thanks. I figured if I was going to blow my 2006 knife budget the first week of January, that it would be on something to make that "long, lonely year" worth it, and redeem me from my "pecuniary excesses." :)

I will put your e-mail address in my contacts folder, just in case...

Joel,
I recieved the knife today and it far exceeded my expectations. Finely ground blade that fits my hand perfectly in all positions. You just need a better camera, it doesn't do your knife justice.
Thanks, Jason
