Snark all day

I've got one of the older "coyote" 10x10s -- love it. slept through a 3" rain a couple weeks ago and stayed dry despite some pretty scary winds.
I was hoping this would be a good one. Reviews are all positive. $125 for a 10x10 tarp, let's hope so. Thinking about getting a M.E.S.T. for my other pack as well.

5x7 seems small to me - if you're going that route, just get a poncho.
the new 10x7 sounds promising, though.
what I really want is the 10x12, but they're all gone at the moment.

Good point. They have 10x12 multi's in stock.

oh, yeah - they're great.
I especially love the fact that they're not 18" long -- this is a perfect size to pack.
I posted up a thanks when they showed, sorry if you missed it and thought i was blowing you off.

Good. Glad you got them and they work for you. I'm not very attentive and just missed it.

I'm listening to my high-school team in the third round of the playoffs. Nice and slow. Game on the radio. No TV. Bottle of Knob Creek rye whiskey.

yeah - I'm just not a huge fan of multicam -- and solid colors cost half as much.
that new pattern they're coming out with is promising, though. atacs, maybe?

one other thing -- when you use it, hang the tarp by the loops - if you run the ridgeline under the tarp, it'll leak.

Solid colors are cheaper, for sure. They're also coming out with some tarps in OD, yum. Ridgeline through the loops, point taken.

Tied 18-18 at the half. I'm going to have to drink harder.

yup - OD or earth brown would be good - their "coyote" seems pretty pale and yellowish to me - even a dark red would be better....

Got the shit beaten out of myself last night at the Parkway Drive / Emmure concert. Still had a good time though!

I'm heading out to the woods with a friend and my new BK-9 in an hour!

I'll join you. That should help.

Painful loss. Down 30-24, my team had the ball on the opponent's one-yard line with 36 seconds to go. Instead of punching it in for the tie and possible win, they took an offsides penalty, a sack, and threw an interception. They went from momentum to "all blowed up." In short, they choked. Those boys will remember those last few seconds a long time.

Maybe Alabama will beat the snot out of Auburn today and ease some pain.

Huh, thats weird. I have 150+ nights under my 10x10 (from the very first batch) and always have used a ridge/under line. Ive never got wet under it. I did seam seal it last year though.

I tie drip cords on my ridgeline outside of the tarp, so when the cord gets wet, the water runs of of those instead of under my tarp.

Damn. That's a tough one. I remember vividly the day we blowdup in the state baseball tourney. Left fielder stiff armed a routine flyball that would have ended it. It went downhill fast after that. He's still dead to me.

Wife asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I'm thinking about a decent quality slingshot to hunt with. I have a Barnett Diablo, but I never was too good with it.

Hmmm, should I go do movie/dinner with my girlfriend, or hit the hills for a little time in the bush? Why don't I have people to make the tough decisions for me?

Is it made of gold and tastes like beer?
