Is it made of gold and tastes like beer?
Pretty much. It's $115, plus shipping.

The last line makes it worth $125 to me. Besides, my wife bought it, haha. :D

Got the shit beaten out of myself last night at the Parkway Drive / Emmure concert. Still had a good time though!

I'm heading out to the woods with a friend and my new BK-9 in an hour!

Must be a German thing, we dont enjoy getting the shit beat out of us here, lmao Hope all is well.

Next time ball your fist and aim it towards the enemy. dont close your eyes and go into the fetal position regardless of previous training :)

Dress it on something that is flat. Or get a new one.

Oh a mosh pit, you should of just said so :)

Thats more of a group love thing than a fighting thing LMAO

Were were you when it happened. The middle sucks, but then again you cant really chose can you?

Yeah, I was right in the middle of a mosh pit. But I went there on purpose, I just didn't expect the crowd to act like they did. That's the problem, those violent-dancing faggots take up too much space, so the pit gets broken up and people aren't packed tightly enough, so there's lots of room for a few stupid a**holes to swing their arms and legs around like drunken monkeys, and that's when things start to go south and moshing isn't really fun anymore.

I prefer ska concerts for that reason, there's always so many people that you can hardly move, but everyone is jumping around and bumping into each other.

Busy day.

Busy day here too.
My Grandpa got an old tractor running after rebuilding the carb, and I took it for a spin to blow the cobwebs out of it.

Thinking about taking my case of PBR outside and getting a fire going.

Last time I was in a mosh pit I lost one of my shoes. Then I found another one. Not mine but it worked :D

I ran up to Grand Prairie Knives. Last week I won a sheath from Godspeed for an Esee LS. So I picked up one of them and since my 14 has disappeared I got a new one of them. I also picked up a new Zippo Mini. It's about half the size of my other zippo.

I'm beginning to think I may have an issue... Been a BeckerHead for a bit over a year now and I have quite the collection.

BK-9... to strip or not to strip?

I'm planning to make micarta for it, and I'm leaning towards stripping in an attempt to make it look less murdered-out. I mean, it's a big knife, which isn't something that you see every day here in Germany, and I'd like it to look less threatening.

I might even chop the point off at some point, to make it look something like this:

ETA: It does look a bit silly now, since I de-ramped it and cleaned up the whole spine while I was at it. Squared the part where the thumb ramp was to throw some nice sparks, and rounded off the rest, for drawknifing action.

I say leave it till the coating is already coming off. I guess I'm in the minority here but I like the coating and I figure it is probably on there for a reason at least till it comes off.

Does the Laser Strike have a longer handle than the tweeners? Looks to be about the same, except the Laser Strike has a choil, making for a bit more room.

It is closest to the 15 but with a deeper choil making it more comfortable... It makes it seem more like a first finger guard than a choil. if that makes sense.

If you're comfortable holding the 15 then the LS will be good. When I have my finger in the choil I have about a half inch of so of room on the end of the handle. Where with the 16/17 my hand fills it all the way.
