Read more post less. :D The Barlow thing is Bladite's favorite topic. It's where Trade resides and is meant as a "For Sparta" substitute. The dings are Psyop's thing.

At least your not bitter about it. Good to know how you feel about brass. Sorry if I brought up some tragic memory of brass, some poeple like some do not. I will file you in the "Does not like group" cheers brother!
 
LOL, Oh ok i got the Barlow thing now thanks and i know psyop is the ding king but not sure on his reasons!

So 850 post in 2 months is excessive?...... Yea i have to agree :) But i have done my fair share of reading too.

its just because i like this place and you guys so much :p


Also i blame moose for getting Ethan to send me a signed bk2, hooking me on becker knives and this board-

To be honest, I'm very happy that my company only works with steel. Aluminum and brass have this annoying tendency to form a sludge with the coolant that sticks to everything and is hell to clean up.

I do think some brass lanyard beads would look good though.
 
Dings and dongs are a thing of the past.

I am equally happy about your company only using steel, as far as machining there is no substitute. Brass and especially alluminum gum up everything, cutters, tools, I get it. But in my experience in the knife world, customers don't care about what I have to do. Like I said earlier. Some like it, and some don't. I don't have the luxery of saying it sucks and refuse to use it.
