ninja dog caught and ate a rabbit for breakfast in the back yard the other day.

I've had plenty of opportunities where the deer was so close, that if I had a spear, I could have poked it! :D No really, I've shot deer out of my ground blind with my bow at 10 yards before!
 
Well shoot.

My GB SFA shipping date got moved back from May 29th to June 12th. Only two weeks but the wait was already killing me haha.

This gal was probably around 20th yards away. I couldn't believe it. I've watched a video on spear hunting a dear on YouTube. It seemed pretty tough.

Speaking of small animal signs... there was something scratching above my head in the attic last night. Time to go toss up a few packages of Bar poison.

Get to go see the surgeon again today for an update. Going to give me some xrays and ultrasounds to check it all out. Healing progress is slow but I got about 30% movement back in my right arm :thumbup: Technically I'm still supposed to be in a sling, but I find it messes up my back/ neck too much causing me more pain. I haven't used it in about a week. I'm hoping he clears me to run again! I got about a month until I have to go back to work, it would be nice to be back in a shape other then round upon my return.
 
Laid my mother in law to rest this morning. The poor thing battled Alzheimers for 18 years. We're glad she finally gets the rest she deserves. Papa's taking it pretty hard though, his wife of 70 years.

My condolences to you and your family. I hate Alzheimers, almost as much as I hate cancer. But after such a long battle, it is good for her to have peace, I'm sure.
