Well. I've been away for a little while. Been off work sick with phnemonia. Sitting in the doctors office watching a old man pick his nose like he's the only man in the world. Have to have chest xray and another breathing test. I'm no better than I was a week and a half ago. The doctor has haulted my knifemaking indefinately. Whadda you do? Damn the flies!
 
Blarg, Todd, this is bad!
Is the doc concerned about dust in the shop? Mold or mildewey breathing equipment??

I wondered about that, you've been too quiet. Get well soon!
 
Heal up soon and get some better breathing protection. Might have to lose the beard.......:eek:
 
Pneumonia sucks - BTDT got the merit badge, etc...
this year i got the Pneumonia vaccine - which is good for 10 years or so.
hope you heal up quick or you'll still be pretty punky in 2 weeks.
 
Wow. Thanks guys. I wasn't expecting all that. Well the good news is my xray looked good. No spots on my lungs. But my breathing test was worse than last week. This time last year I was hospitalized for a week with double phnomonia. The doc. Seems to think I have some kind of strange allergy that causes this extreme lung infection. He gave me some more meds to try to combat the allergy. But I really think he's drawing a blank. He claims in all his years he's never seen something like this with the unwillingness to not clear up unless is was something more serious. But that's not indicated by the xrays. I go back in another week, said we might talk about seeing a specialist.

It's Mcmaster-Carr's "Impact Resistant Garolite." I was very pleasantly surprised with the color and pattern. ETA, I also made the lanyard bead with that stuff.
