so, 5.11 had this offering for a "tactical duty kilt" a while ago. special one time pre-order pricing. two colors. largest size was 42. sight unseen, i took a chance.

you'll just have to google for it

well, they were supposed to ship/arrive something like Sep 1st. various other antics occurred, and well, their customer service eventually got it done, and they shipped, and they didn't botch my new address for the actual delivery

so. black and khacki type colors. interesting design, which i shall look at more closely. "technical" cloth so it's stain resistant and fast drying.

amusing part, i could just step into it and wiggle it up without much effort. didn't think THAT was going to happen THIS soon, but well, there we are. was a 45-46 last time this year. nifty. guess that would explain needing the extra belt loop holes i made too, and why my pants keep trying to escape there's a point where a belt is too tight and NOT comfortable.

so, yar. good product. a little different. not your usual. they may not offer them again either. so... fun!

if they do offer them again, well, snap one up!
