So I finally got Helga out for some time "in the woods" during an Order of the Arrow (Scouting Honor society) camp out, I can't say I had many chances to use her, but I may have converted someone to BeckerHeadism... Unfortunately since that one screw on the bracket is still stuck I had to carry it ranger style (really didn't want to do cross draw or left handed carry) and that raised questions from those on the fence about fixed blade knives. Also some new jewelry for her (stainless). Got some pics of her on my pack via tek-lok.
(Sheeple are really fun to fend off, especially when they tell me to hide it in my back pack and I tell them it's against Florida state law.

Edit: Yes, these pictures are during lunch in a dining hall, no it is not a school dining hall.

I have a friend that has wanted an ar15 for a long time. He finally decided to spend the money and put one together, so I told him I would help him out. He ended up not taking my advice on parts and ordered one of the cheapest kits he could get his hands one and had someone else put it together for him. It will only fire one shot and then won't fire again unless he flips the safety off and on again, then he will only get one more shot. Now he's wishing he woulda taken my advice. I guess someone else he knows ordered two of the same kit and are having the same problem too.

I would like to do an AR-15 build as well. I have an idea for what i want, but nowhere near enough scratch for it. Maybe I need to sell some knives

Just returned home from my brother's place for the weekend. My little niece absolutely melted my heart today. Made me sad to come home. But alas I'm here now, and getting ready for bed. Got a long week ahead of me.
