Well just a update. I am on the mend. Still not back to normal, and my Doc is still shaking his finger at me, but have gotten back to doing some shop work. Taking it slow for now. But don't want to get to behind either. Turns out what he thought was phnemonia was a severe lung infection. I give you all 1 guess what he blames it on. Sorry to dissapoint all you guys that called dibbs on my sh!t if I killed over. But I think I'm gonna make it!

So your saying that you have a great grip and awesome wrist strength.............hmmmmmm how did that happen?
Just got back from Yale New Haven Hospital. The wife had her left hip replaced with stainless. Couldn't talk the surgeon into using 1095...
Anyway, "minimally invasive surgery" they call it, but you still need a hole big enough to put the head of a femur through.
Couldn't believe it. After 3 hours in the recovery room they send her up to the post-op floor, the physical therapists are waiting. After a few exercises in bed, they have her get up and walk across the room to the bathroom just using a walker! Only hours after surgery! If I didn't witness it myself I wouldn't have believed it.
Guess the guy is pretty good with a knife...
I was at work... I'm always down for free stuff though! It's going to be hilarious if my ESEE giveaway fades without anyone taking the stuff.
ETA: Nope it's gone. I figured someone would like the patch.
Glad you are getting better... If you aren't able to get my blade done before the gathering, it's alright, I don't mind waiting. I'd rather have TMHunt still in business. Although it would increase the value of my knife otherwise <_<Well just a update. I am on the mend. Happy to hear Mrs. K9 is getting better, quickly. It's pretty amazing how quickly they get folks back up. Apparently they say it's better for the body to not get too used to babying after surgery. I dunno, personally when I have someone cutting on me, I ain't getting out of bed the rest of the day.Just got back from Yale New Haven Hospital. The wife had her left hip replaced with stainless. Wait... Wut?Story time!!!
So today in school im talking to a couple of friends and this one kid who always had a problem with me comes up. Long story short were in the middle of a conversation and he tells me to arm wrestle a kid behind me. Mind you (the one behind me) is about 6'2 at around 220 lbs. big boy. The one that dared me is 6 feet tall maybe 140-150. Im sitting around 5'7 130 lbs. I agreed to do it, the one telling ne to armwrestle had money on me. He was the only one. I won. Yeah ME. Now he's saying im weak any anybody can beat him. O.k. Get your a$$ in this seat and well se if you could win. He ends up pushing himself off the desk and putting his body weight on the other kid and still looses...Shows you dont have to be big n' tall to be strong.
End.
