Its all good man I know you were 9 just last week. Frankly im impressed with your vocabulary. :) just playing.

Ouch!

I wasn't kidding... I broke the six-foot mark when I was in 7th or 8th grade... and it's not as much fun as you might think, being tall... I cried many a tear because of normal people making fun of my "high water pants" and asking me "how's the weather up there?" and "hey Stretch, change this lightbulb would ya?" :(

Hurtful, painful stuff. And that was only from adults... kids are even meaner. It's a wonder I'm not a psychopath, after all that abuse...

I appreciate the likiness of my wordy-knowings, though... it's a big hit with the ladies ;)

I had dueling banjos playing in my head when the picture was taken

No really i dont get the reference LMAO :D

Don't get it? You mean you've never seen Deliverance?

Yall might think this is interesting... So about a year ago I was given this old Imperial Kamp-King... The knife was completely screwed... All the tools/blades were locked up, bent, rusted, and all other manners of messed up... After soaking it in oil for a day or two I got the main blade to break free and well it had so much wobble I thought it might fall out on its own even though it would only open about halfway... Seriously I think someone beat this knife through a center block with another center block... Long story short I refurbed it to working order... but it still had weak springs and the tools about ripped your nail off to get out... (had to peen everything again to get it to hold together making it too tight I think....) so last night I tore it down again... The pins were bent all out of shape causing the issues... Think I am going to turn it into a single blade sheepsfoot or something, just need to find some new pinstock and go back together with it after some reshaping...

After first oil soak and got the main blade free.. This was as far as it would open.

Here is after the refurb I did, but I was still not happy with it, so I started over. Probably going to have to find new larger pinstock and redrill cause the pivot hole is egged out..

Ill finish one of these days... lol

That's real cool. The very first knife I ever got was a old imperial trapper with yellow scales. My Grandpa gave it to me when I was 6. Still got it.

Got a Rat II folder today. It's alright but simply taking an existing design and scaling it down usually doesn't work, and the Rat II is an example of this. I would like to see another RAT folder that is the RAT I simply made shorter instead of scaled down.

But don't they get you on your taxes though? Mine was really $101, but I was four months late paying it, haha.

Probably........we have to pay personal property tax every year in Dec. Mine is like $800 for a couple newer cars an old Jeep and a Harley. I know Kansas gets screwed on taxes and plates.

That's what I thought. We were just talking about this last night. My step son goes to college at SEMO, and he is going to take up residency in Missouri.

Man, I lost some of my favorite photos I took of Yellowstone. Trying to do a recovery on a few different drives, see if I can get them back. Sucks big time.

Going camping tomorrow. I think the only steel I'm going to take is my BK2, and TOPS BOB. I've never used either one of these.

I like beer.

I don't generally care much for dark beers, but it turns out, this stuff is actually quite mellow and tasty...

Thanks, Ethan and Moose!

Haha. Here's a funny story for ya. So you know this year was my first year attending Blade in Atlanta (as a vendor mind you) needless to say, I was more than nervous about it, being the new guy and all. (Damn rookies ) so, anyway, the Blade show rules strictly prohibit drinking during Blade show hours. Well, to hell with that. Thanks to Ethan, Bladite, and Moose, who knew we would be hating life without our beloved brew. They introduced us to the two fellows that brew the beer for Ka-bar along with pretty much all the "free samples" we could handle most all of the weekend. It was great. Everybody there was looking at me and Murph like "why are you so special" haha. The beer was good. Glad they hooked us up. To hell with the rules. However, I got to appologise to Big Chris for spilling one of those beers on his table! Lol. Like I said. Damn rookies! :D

Good times!

I think there's a pic of Murph floating around of him drinking a Ka-bar beer at the Ka-bar booth with one of my TMHunt t-shirts on and a M-18. Haha. Good stuff.

Damn you must have some thick knee pads.

When you're as cool as I am, you don't kneed pads.

Wait... what?

Awesome!

I surprised myself by actually having a beer in the house this long without drinking it. I'm absolutely certain it's a new record.

ETA: I doubt that 4-month streak will ever be broken, but if anyone wants to send me more free beer, I'm willing to give it a try.

Damn Terrio that's brilliant! Never thought of that. If anybody want to send free beer, I'll take some too! :D

By the way James. Congrates on the new subforum.

I'm having to run like hell to burn the calories to afford this apple pie and ice cream. But it's worth it.
