I use one all the time, still hate the feeling of it, but after it dries out you feel great.

The worst is when you're all done, cleaned up, and then find out like five minutes later there is a pocket of saline somewhere up there that comes rushing out at a random time. Helps to keep one on their toes. ;)

for sure, I found out the hard way to not do it at night before bed. Got a bad ear infection from laying down too soon after using it. Need to sit up for at least an hour or even 2 after using...

Yall might think this is interesting... So about a year ago I was given this old Imperial Kamp-King... The knife was completely screwed... All the tools/blades were locked up, bent, rusted, and all other manners of messed up... After soaking it in oil for a day or two I got the main blade to break free and well it had so much wobble I thought it might fall out on its own even though it would only open about halfway... Seriously I think someone beat this knife through a center block with another center block... Long story short I refurbed it to working order... but it still had weak springs and the tools about ripped your nail off to get out... (had to peen everything again to get it to hold together making it too tight I think....) so last night I tore it down again... The pins were bent all out of shape causing the issues... Think I am going to turn it into a single blade sheepsfoot or something, just need to find some new pinstock and go back together with it after some reshaping...

After first oil soak and got the main blade free.. This was as far as it would open.

Here is after the refurb I did, but I was still not happy with it, so I started over. Probably going to have to find new larger pinstock and redrill cause the pivot hole is egged out..

Ill finish one of these days... lol
I would, his in the hell do you remove those scales without breaking them??

I've got an old colonial "forest master" , same knife-boyscout pattern, that I would like to snug no with.

anybody else have dueling banjos playing in your head when you looked at that first picture? :D

I have a sneaky suspicion that both of those dudes are aboot 5' 6" tall. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

It probably is, but if you have regular sinus issues, once you get over the absolute weirdness of flushing your sinuses with saline, it helps so much you almost can't stop. I mean it genuinely helps.

I'm sure you're right. Horrible drugs and abnormal sex work the same way... "it's only weird the first few dozen times".

Don't ask me how I know this.

I prefer the NeilMed version of the netipot. super easy, low-pressure.

These scales are single piece bolster and all stamped metal over the frame of the knife. There are 2 tabs on each end of the knife at the top of the "bolsters" that hold the scales to the frame. Its just a matter of carefully bending the tabs with a pick so the scales will pull off. Then the rest is just all pinned and peened together. I do not know if I am going to go back on with them or not... I may pin solid scales to it instead, just depends on how it fits back together.

So was I... when I was 9.

Sorry dude, no offense meant... that was just too silly to pass up. :o

Its all good man I know you were 9 just last week. Frankly im impressed with your vocabulary. :) just playing.

First episode of Sleepy hollow has me cracking up laughing.

I bet this would help a lot.
