man i think its so stupid that we cant walk down to the store to get antibiotics without a prescription. Need antibiotics you have to go to the doctor, and if applicable pay those fees just for him to give you a paper to allow you to go buy something that people should be allowed to buy over the counter. Sure some people might abuse them, some people abuse tylenol, but there in every store across the country.

If you had sick fish, you could probably get some antibiotics here:

My roommates were already off doing whatever when I woke up and my other friend has her kid tonight so I'm just sitting here watching Big Bang Theory drinking Shock Top Raspberry Wheat alone. The liquor store down the street has a decent beer selection.

Soooo....why didn't you pick decent beer?;) Spent the afternoon blowing & mulching leaves and imbibing malt beverages. My refrigerator has a decent selection - Harpoon Leviathan, Redhook Out of Your Gourd Pumpkin Porter, Otter Creek Black IPA, Oktoberfest & Hop Session. 50° (still shorts weather for me) and breezy, my favorite time of the year (were it not for yardwork!) to be outside. Finished with a fire and the Sox game on the radio (i.e. internet) at a friends, kids running around like idiots with flashlights. Marshmallows and graham crackers - quietest time of the night, kids hungry and stuffing their mouths with sugar at 9:30  I love the fall.
See, bighoss? Drinking alone this afternoon myself as well. Got a lot done; carried my 9 (don't do that much) and chopped some stuff machete-like. Cleaned it and for $l+!tz and giggles cut potatoes with it for the grill.
Sitting here, typing up my day and realizing that today was a pretty good day. Enjoy the rest of the evening, folks.

I really like that the Corps owns all the surrounding land, so you feel like you're outdoors rather than in somebody's back yard.

Time to go home.

Great pics, Guyon!

The Vols game was thoroughly awful.

Our front yard no longer looks like a shaggy unkempt hayfield. I'm sure the neighbors are relieved that "that long-haired hillbilly down the street finally mowed his got-dang lawn". Joke's on them though, I now have more mulch and compost material for the veggie garden! (I planned it that way, honest)

Almost all the hot peppers on hand are cut, cleaned/seeded and chopped, and ready for making yummy sauce. Turns out, that's actually way more labor-intensive than you might think... I need to grow more jalapenos and serranos next year, simply because the fruits are bigger and easier to clean than the tabascos/chile de arbols/cayennes. Regardless, our pepper plants are doing surprisingly well after being dug up last week and transplanted to containers indoors.

A fine showing Biscuit! I thought you were going with the Trades? That yak deck pack is pretty handy looking.

Looks like a great day Guyon! Those instant mashed potatoes are so dang easy they should be a part of every meal!

Speaking of meals, I had planned to get a nice little Sunday breakfast thread going today. Had been at the grocery store the last two hours, getting hungrier and hungrier, getting more and more delightful goodies. I got pork chops, I got pepperonis, I got cubed ham steak, So many cheeses, so frickin many. Salsa, tortillas, hashbrowns, it was going great. Then when I got home I saw some things I had tossed in there and just had to try them. Vanilla gelato and from the masterminds at Homestead Creamery down in VA, I got to try a glass of pumpkin spice milk. Had no idea you could milk a pumpkin, but they had it covered. Into the fridge with the goodies.

Maybe later breakfast can happen. After this pint of gelato...

I drink what I like and for that I will make no apologies. I'm generally more of a rum-and-coke guy and not much of a beer drinker. I'm not well versed in beer but it's what I like. At least it ain't Coors light.

I's just bustin' yer nuggets.....it's a snark thread, after all. There is no accounting for taste, and in truth, I'm only a beer snob to myself. Everyone else can drink whatever they want. I don't want to be like my father in law, who gives me unmitigated grief about how I must not like coffee because I "ruin it" with cream and sugar. And this from a guy who puts hot sauce/peppers on everything, and I mean everything he says.
Sorry, Hoss. I was just kidding.
